Young People and Teens

Children and Teens have marvelous opportunities at Camp in programs designed specifically for their age groups.

In order to prepare our kitchen and YPP & Teen Program staffing, all children under 18 must be pre-registered through a two-step process.

  1. Register your family either online or by mail.
  2. When your registration has been confirmed, you will be sent a link to fill out medical release and health forms online. No packet will be mailed to you./li>

It is DNE policy that all young people under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian when not checked in with the YPP or Teen Program.

Young People's Program

The Young People's Program (YPP) welcomes babies through 12 years old to explore, play, learn, and connect. 9-12, 6-8, 3-5, 2 and under (6 months and under are not enrolled in YPP, but welcome with parent.) Operating hours are from 9:15am - 5:45pm.

If your child is 12 months old or younger when attending camp and absolutely will not spend any time in YPP there is no fee necessary, but still needs to be listed on your registration.

YPP programming opens Friday the 21st and ends with a half day on Saturday the 29th (note: there is no YPP on Monday the 24th).

For more information, refer to the YPP Welcome Letter and & General Information: YPP Welcome Letter YPP General Information Questions about YPP (ages 12 and under)? Contact Susan McGinn at

Teen Program

The teen program aims to create a fun and safe space, as well as empower involvement in the community, for the youth between 12 and 17 years old attending the camp. Participation of in the activities proposed depends on their free will to engage in the program. The activities offered are based on the feedback from participants from the previous years. Each year we try to adapt the schedule to respond to the needs of the youth in attendance. Teens have their own programmatic cabin that they arrange and decorate to encourage ownership of the space, to be a comfortable space for them to hang out in. The cabin is open daily from 12:00pm to 12:00am. A team of core instructors ensure the implementation of the activities and many guest teachers are invited to provide a program with a wide range of activities such as, but not limited to: dance, arts, spiritual growth, breathwork, circus arts, games, etc. The teen program come as complementary resource to empower the well being and growth of the teens at camp.
