Joining the Board is a great way to get involved at a deeper level for those with experience in leadership at DNE. Our working board applies their expertise, insight, and vision to strengthen DNE’s future.
Board meetings are all 5:00-8:00pm over Zoom.
If someone is interested in observing, they are welcome to email aileen@dne.org or board@dne.org, and a link can be provided. All are welcome to observe. If there are any portions of executive session, non-Board members may be required to leave the meeting.

Peace Council
The Peace Council (PC) addresses issues of safety and conflict resolution, using mediation, empathy sessions, and restorative justice. The PC operates year-round, meeting monthly during the year and regularly during camp. The PC oversees implementation of the DNE Safety Statement, with special focus on developing and supporting education and policy around boundaries and consent.
