Angela first got involved with DNE in 2017 through working in the Camp’s Young People Program. Since then she has been an active member in the DNE community, attending regular dances in the Northampton area and volunteering at Camp Timber Trails during work weekends and Camp events.
Angela is a public school teacher who focuses much of her teaching practice on inclusion and equity. In her role on the Board, she is committed to embedding principles of equity and inclusion into the decision-making process to ensure that DNE remains a compassionate, welcoming, and supportive environment for people of all backgrounds.
The Dance New England community is central to Angela’s life and the lives of her children. Being on the Board is one way she enjoys contributing to a community that means so much to her and her family.
