Dance Camp offers daily programing for the whole family!
– A Dance Camp Parent
The Young People’s Program (YPP) is a cherished element of Dance Camp.
The Young People’s Program (YPP) provides a safe and playful learning environment on a drop-in basis for all participants. YPP staff focus on providing inclusive activities and fostering friendship.
YPP welcomes babies through 12 years old to explore, play, learn, and connect. Infants six months and under cannot enroll in YPP, but are welcome with a parent present.
Hours of care: 9:00am–5:45pm
YPP usually has the following age groups:
If your child is 12 months old or younger when attending Camp and will not be spending any time in YPP, then no fee is necessary. They still need to be listed on your registration.
YPP programming for Dance Camp 2022 opens Thursday, August 4th, and ends with a half-day on Saturday, August 13th. There is one day in the middle of Camp with no YPP programming, to give staff a day off (specific day TBD).
Questions about YPP (ages 12 and under)? Contact the YPP Coordinator (Daniel Greenberg).
Young people and teens have marvelous opportunities at Camp in drop-in programs designed specifically for their age groups. In order to prepare our kitchen and YPP & Teen Program staffing, all children under 18 must be pre-registered.
Step 1: Register your family either online or by mail.
Step 2: When your registration has been confirmed, you will be sent a link to fill out medical release and health forms online. No packet will be mailed to you.
All young people under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian when not checked in with the YPP or Teen Program.
The teen program is a fun, co-created complimentary drop-in resource to empower the well-being and growth of the teens at Camp.
Contact Teen Program
The Teen Program empowers involvement in the community by giving teens a way to create a fun and safe space, with the help of program coordinators. Participants from 13 to 17 years of age can pick from specific activities, which we adapt based on feedback and requests. Core instructors and guest teachers offer a range of options, including (but not limited to): dance, art, spiritual growth, breathwork, circus arts, and games. Teens can decorate and take ownership of the program’s hangout space, a tent open daily from noon to midnight.
We offer the Teen Program as a complimentary resource to support the well-being and strengthen the growth of the teens at Camp. For questions, contact our Teen Coordinator.
